Job Description

Ensure the efficient running of daily initiatives of the Accounts / Finance unit
Coordinating and monitoring the organization’s financial operational structures
Coordinating the finance reporting for the company. This comprises every month finance reporting, financial planning and predicting, and all statutory finance reporting
Make sure that financial statements adhere with the International Finance reporting standard (IFRS)
Offering sound monetary aid and findings to enable the company to make critical business decisions
Evaluate and supervising of process expenditures.
Visual communication of financial outcomes and findings
Managing tax matters, tax organizing and other legal adherence
Coordinating the Independent financial examiner connection and making sure the company is conforming with accounting guidelines
Coordinating and monitoring the organization’s banking and borrowing structured
Monitoring Outstanding bills, Outstanding receivables, Tax, Treasury, Wage processing, Financial and Management Accounting processes.
Advising and executing industry standard methods to grow income and reduce expenses
Coordinating and tracking financial plan and employee evaluation
Analyzing all official finance rules and standardized processes
Oversee connections with compliance-related and statutory bodies, i.e. LIRS, FIRS, etc
Keeping abreast of new development in status updates, tax and other compliance obligation to guarantee adherence
Acquire and oversee capital (both long and short term).

Competence in application of Office productivity software( word, excel, powerpoint) and financial system which includes quickbooks etc
Must have expertise in domestic and international accounting status updates requirement
Must have expertise in applicable tax law and principles
Capability to operate with at least oversight
Committed to work and eager to develop
Expertise in Power, energy, petroleum sector sector is significant and is a plus
Expertise in the banking and other financial institutions will be of great advantage.
