Role summary
We are seeking a inspired and meticulous Assistant accountant to join our finance team. This is an outstanding avenue for a recent graduate or someone with up to 1 year of expertise who’s enthusiastic to build a profession in accounting and finance.
Duties
- Help in getting ready balance sheet and income statement and documentation
- Assist end of month and end of year closing methods
- Execute records entry and preserve precise finance records
- Resolve financial statements and accounts
- Assist guarantee adherence with financial rules and rules
- Help with within and outside the organization audits
- Work alongside other departments to guarantee smooth financial processes
Qualifications
- Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
- 0–1 year of applicable work/intern expertise
- Basic comprehension of accounting principles (GAAP or IFRS)
- Competence in Excel spreadsheet software and financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP will be an added advantage)
- Robust meticulousness and planning abilities
- Readiness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
