Job Description

Managerial synchronization:

  • Assist M&E, and Learning (MEL), operating with the MEL Head and subgrantees to collect, confirm, and assemble data for effect documentation 
  • Engage in on-site visits, workshops, and development sessions — in city centers in addition to rural project sites — occasionally arranging commute or co-organizing events 
  • With the manager, project, organize within and outside the organization status updates calendars to guarantee on-time delivery of all necessary outputs, especially financial statements 

Necessary Credentials 

  • Bsc in Business Management, International Development, Accounting, or a relevant field, or applicable years of work background 
  • At least 3-5 years of expertise coordinating sophisticated donor-financed programs, with a preference for practical experience with USAID, MasterCard Foundation, BMGF, GIZ, multi-party, or similar suppliers. 
  • Robust command of donor status updates guidelines, finance reporting and adherence, and safeguarding procedures. 
  • Exhibited capability to leadcomplex financial plans and multi-funder projects 
  • Proven expertise of top substantial procurements/ sub-negotiating methods to international NGO guidelines, submitting application planned procurement procedures 
  • Outstanding planning abilities and verified ability to operate in a digital environment 
  • Outstanding English communications competencies (documented and spoken) 
  • Capability to operate independently and jointly in a dynamic environment 

Preferred Credentials:

  • Expertise with GEAPP, the Mastercard Foundation, or other climate/energy sector funders. 
  • Expertise in agriculture or clean energy programs in Nigeria. 
  • Expertise in gender equity and community-related addition (GESI) frameworks, and expertise with pro-GESI projects. 
  • Expertise with programs serving women and/or youth aged 18 to 35  
  • Fluency in English is crucial; fluency in a local Nigerian language will be an added advantage 

Operating Requirement

The selected applicant for employ should be accessible to begin between September and October 2025 to match with the EWAS execution timeline. Please note that this project-based role is for a full-time, temporary of approximately 2 years from the beginning of job. This position will answer to the Manager, project.
