Principal accountant at a Dynamic and Diversified Retail Business - Duob Recruitment (2 Openings) in Nigeria

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly proficient and skilled Principal accountant to supervise and oversee the financial processes of our multifaceted business project sample, which includes pharmacies, supermarkets, and hair & beauty salons. The preferred candidate will ensure the precision of finance records, adherence with compliance obligations, and offer critical financial findings to assist strategic strategic judgment. This Position will require directing over night inventory count process, occasional weekend work due to the nature of the businesses. Also work during recognized holidays due to the nature of the businesses.

Credentials and Expertise

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Specialist qualifications which includes ACA, ACCA, ICAN
• At least 7-10 years of accounting expertise, with a minimum of 2 years in a top level/executive function.
• Expertise in the in-store or service industry is a plus.
•  Applicants must possess In-store expertise-Supermarkets, Pharmacies etc.

Competencies and Skills:

• Solid understanding of accounting principles, finance reporting, and Nigerian tax legal provisions.
• Competence in financial system and Ms office tools, especially Excel.
• Outstanding logical and analytical abilities.
• High level of precision and meticulousness.
• Robust organisational and time-leadership abilities.
• Clear communication and people skills.
• Capability to operate under pressure and deliver within strict timelines.
