Chief's Driver at Solina Centre for International Development and Research (SCIDaR) in Abuja

Explanation and Targets

The Chief’s Driver will collaborate with the Chief and offer all logistics assist comprehensive. S/he will also ensure that vehicles are properly used and used in line with SCIDaR fleet regulatory framework. He will also check in and make sure that standard procedure preventative servicing & maintenance plans for the vehicles are firmly was aligned with in a manner that will assure dependable transportation of SCIDaR employees, assets and other goods.

Duties

• Organize with Workspace Administrator and make strategic guidance and execute measures that will ensure protection of the SCIDaR’s vehicles and vehicle tools to improve effectiveness and reduce the possibility of theft or loss.
• Organize with the Administrator Officer to guarantee the servicing & maintenance of a folder of Vehicle Log Records for audit purposes.
• In charge of making sure that the allocated vehicle is cleaned and preserved at all times
• In charge of using all vehicle admin systems like log sheets and vehicle checklists to track vehicle usage, conduct and servicing & maintenance.

Education and Expertise

• Academic development: At least a National Certification or its equivalent in Logistics, Business Management or Humanities;
• Specialist Certification: Possession of a Trade Test Certification I or II will be advantageous.
• Expertise: At least 3 - 5 years of progressive expertise in Pushing and Logistics management.
• NGO/Donor’s Expertise: The Preferred candidate must be knowledgeable about Donors’ compliance standards and must possess performed with a reputable developmental company.

• Outstanding corporate and handling multiple responsibilities competencies with the capability to manage clashes.
