Obligations and Duties

• Be in charge of; the safe and duly authorised use of the vehicle allocated to them.
• Knowing in description, and abiding by, all local legal provisions pertaining to pushing and road use, and all DRC pushing compliance standards (no passenger or superior may authorise or order violations of the traffic law).
• Conforming to all standardized processes and standard procedures laid out in the in process documented guide, which includes but not limited to the cleanliness, regular check, fault-status updates, servicing & maintenance needs of the vehicle allocated to them, and any incidents/accidents that befall that vehicle.
• Preserve precise, legible, current and finalize trip records in the log schedule of any vehicle they lead At once after executing the journey.
• Journey project setup of the vehicle allocated to them, which includes: general cleanliness and appearance; checks on spare tyre(s) and other tools which includes first assist kit, recovery kit, etc; communications checks; fuel/oil/water levels and tyre pressure checks; and safe and secure loading.
• Be in charge to guide the fleet/logistics coordinator of re-registrations and coverage standardized processes for all the vehicle fleet.
• Ensure the safety of passengers and vehicles at all times when active.
• Be in charge to guide the fleet/supply assistant of any signs for vehicle repairs.
• Ensure the respect of the Code of Carry out.
