Role summary

Under the direct oversight of the Food Guard and Livelihoods (FSL) Activity Manager, the FSL Supervisory role will be in charge of top the organizing, execution, and management of all FSL-associated initiatives in Maiduguri. This comprises carrying out needs evaluations, monitoring activity execution, supervising advancement, and analyzing the effect of the project. The FSL Supervisory role will make sure that all interventions are productively carried out in accordance with project goals, while conforming to Solidarités International’s guidelines and standard procedures.

Logistics and Management:

  • When hiring routine workers, follow standardized processes and directives outlined by his/her Direct supervisor and the managerial service
  • Educate his/her team members to use and preserve the accessible resources correctly
  • Track usage with tracking software offered
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Make sure that health and safety protocols are followed by members of his/her team
  • Track the quality and quantity of material fulfilled to operating sites
  • Ensure the receipt and storage of material and tools necessary for his/her work to be carried out in-field

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree. Or Higher national diploma in Agriculture, Agric economics, Animal husbandry, Agronomy and soil
  • Industry experience: At least 2 years’ related experience in a similar role with INGO/NNGO or the public sector
  • Languages: English and other local languages are added advantages.
  • Personal attributes: Good people skills, dependable, truthful, responsible, very good company, resistant to stress, team player, good prioritization of duty, leadership abilities, organizing competencies and adaptive schedule to deliver on time.
  • sciences or any relevant field.
  • IT Competencies: Good Expertise in MS Workspace, Word, PowerPoint and improved MS Workspace Excel.
