Job Description
Primary duties
- Organize and serve various coffee, tea, and other beverages.
- Show menu, take orders and make strategic guidance to the clients.
- Operate coffee brewing tools, which includes grinders, espresso machines, and drip brewers.
- Offer guests with information about the coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Preserve the cleanliness and appearance of the coffee bar, dining zone, and brewing tools.
- Process payments using the dining venue’s POS system and manage cash and credit card financial record.
- Work jointly with other employees members, which includes servers and kitchen employees, to guarantee smooth processes.
- Execute opening and closing obligations which includes stocking taken and preserving sales records.
- Execute other obligations as allocated under leadership.
Qualifications
- First Academic qualification (Bachelor's degree) / Higher national diploma or equivalent in a applicable field with 1-3 years’ expertise.
- Previous expertise as a Beverage server, ideally in a high-end dining venue or Expertise Coffee environment.
- Solid understanding of coffee brewing methods, tools, and beans.
- Outstanding client support and verbal abilities.
- Capability to operate in a dynamic environment and juggle duties productively.
- Robust meticulousness and planning abilities.
- Capability to operate a adjustable timing, which includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive mindset and growth mindset and take direction.
- Expertise in dining venue POS operational structures will be an added advantage.
