Pick-up Truck Driver at Slomadaz Furniture in Port Harcourt, Rivers

Position Overview

We are looking for a devoted, skilled, and dependable Driver to join our team. In this position, you will be a key part of our processes, in charge of making sure the safe and on-time completion of furniture while also managing the pickup of crucial generation materials, resources, and inventory needed for production operations. The preferred candidate should have robust analytical abilities, the capability to adjust to unexpected hurdles on the road, and quick strategic judgment abilities to guarantee smooth logistics and prompt supplies.

Primary duties

• Safely transport finished furniture to closing sales outlets and clients.
• Pick up unedited materials and inventory from vendors.
• Ensure proper managing and secure loading of items to prevent loss.
• Preserve cleanliness and basic servicing & maintenance of the pickup van.
• Keep precise records of trips, fuel usage, and dispatch description.
• Adhere with road safety rules and organisation rules.
• Help with minor warehouse or logistics duty when necessary.

Qualifications

• Interested applicants should have an SSCE / GCE / NECO certification with 2 years work expertise.
• Must be living within Nta or Ada-George, Port Harcourt
• Must possess Valid driving permit with a clean pushing document.
• Expertise pushing a documented guide transmission pickup van.
• Solid understanding of Port Harcourt road safety regulations and traffic rules.
• Physically suit and competent of managing furniture safely.
• Dependable, on time, and capable to operate with minimal oversight.
