Job Description

Collaborate with the Group Risk team in making sure that losses arising from was unsuccessful or inadequate internal workflows, operational structures, people and external events fall inside the Group's risk appetite, and is in alignment with the company’s corporate plan
Offer assistance to departments inside the business unit in the recognition of process risk concerns, and designing regulates to reduce risk risks recognized
Ensure the proper execution of the process risk management structure, rules and standardized processes of the company inside the Business Unit
Ensure prompt finalization and rendition of yearly Risk & Regulate Self Evaluations (RCSAs), and every month Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
Formulate KRIs necessary to track newly recognized or emerging risk exposures
Help departments with the recognition of key risk(s) on an ongoing basis
Recognize and documentation process risk events.
Execute root cause evaluation on recognized risk events and endorse regulates to be executed to prevent these risk events from re-occurring.
Track the execution of actions strategies to handle key risks recognized from RCSAs, KRIs and reported loss incidents
Track the Business Unit's threat level closely to guarantee process effectiveness, anticipated sales and proper redress of limiting factors
Track and guarantee promptness close-out of endorsed regulates for mitigating recognized risks

Higher national diploma / Bsc in a Commercial course, Economics, Accounting or Engineering; Masters’ academic qualification in a applicable field of study or applicable specialist certification would be a plus
5 years or more related experience in financial solutions
Good people skills with robust verbal and professional writing competencies.
