Explanation

The Financial administrative support Officer will supervise daily finance & administrative support processes of CTYDI. This position is critical in making sure operations excellency, adherence with donor qualifications, proper recordkeeping, and financial transparency to assist programme dispatch and long-term viability.

Managerial Obligations:

  • Oversee workspace stock, inventory, and procurement methods.
  • Preserve employees records, agreements, and recordkeeping in adherence with work rules.
  • Organize logistics for sessions, development sessions, site visits, and outreach events.
  • Ensure recordkeeping and archiving of programme documentation, activity memos, and adherence documents.
  • Assist hiring process, orientation, and managerial needs of employees and voluntary assistants.

Adherence and Status updates:

  • Ensure proper recordkeeping of expenditures with assisting receipts and authorizations.
  • Guarantee alignment to the company’s finance & administrative support rules.
  • Assist initiatives status updates by offering prompt financial data.
  • Ensure CTYDI is conforming with statutory qualifications (taxes, pensions, CAC filings).

Assist to Programme Teams:

  • Help in financial plan organizing for events, workshops, and development sessions.
  • Track financial components of project execution and flag variances.
  • Assist project directs with capacity planning and expenditure tracking.

Credentials and Expertise

  • A Academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a relevant field.
  • At least 2 - 3 years of expertise in finance and management within a non-profit or NGO setting.
  • Competence in financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Excel).
  • Deep knowledge of Nigerian tax legal provisions, wage processing processing, and NGO financial rules.
  • Outstanding corporate and people skills.
  • Capability to operate under pressure and juggle duties across projects.

Preferred Traits:

  • Expertise in assisting donor-financed projects (e.g., faith-based, teaching, or youth-development programs).
  • Robust professional conduct and meticulousness.
  • A enthusiasm for youth development, education, or group transformation.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and documented).
