Job Description

Objective of Task

  • Data officer will be in charge of evaluate of the collected data for precision and quality. The officer will collate all entries from all state data supervisors to guarantee precision and quality data across all data collection sites.
  • Recognize and offer initiatives observed in the transcribed data files.
  • Recognize patterns, themes, and findings from unrestricted responses.
  • Preserve secure and structured data storage operational structures.
  • Offer assistance to site data enumerators and data supervisors on data collection.
  • Execute second level evaluate of transcribed data and code interviews using software like NVivo or Atlas.Ti
  • Carry out prepare evaluation of themes connected with malaria prevention goods requirement, stock, obstacles to entry, and users’ perceptions
  • Preserve secure data storage and recordkeeping operational structures
  • Guarantee adherence with analysis structured approach in data collection.
  • Guarantee standard and efficient data governance methods.
  • Work in synchronization with the Analysis Expert to guarantee survey DB precisely captures and deals with the analysis targets for easy tracking and status updates to donor and national participants.

Credentials and Expertise

  • Applicants must possess a Masters’ Academic qualification in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or any business intelligence relevant field with a minimum of 5 years’ expertise on qualitative analysis on malaria prevention, and case management.
  • Robust data governance competencies, unique logical and documentation skilled in writing.
  • Outstanding corporate, schedule control competencies.
  • Expertise in malaria data governance and quantitative documentation drafting
  • Expertise in data evaluation especially quantitative data evaluation and analysis
  • Competence in qualitative evaluation resources (e.g. NVivo, Atlas TI and MAXQDA)
  • Improved computer competencies, which includes Ms office tools (Excel and MS Workspace), MS SQL steward and statistical bundles.
  • Good comprehension and adherence with analysis ethics and data governance.

Outputs:

  • Evaluate of KII, IDI, FGD qualitative data collected on site routine and bring to attention matters in the data and offer strategic guidance to enhance the subsequent data collection initiatives.
  • Entry of preliminary documentation of hurdles and lessons learnt from each state of execution
  • Send concluding data governance consultancy answer to the analysis expert.
