DI Mechanical operator at LD&D Consulting in Abuja (FCT)

About the Position

We are seeking a proficient and meticulous DI Mechanical operator with a profile in graphic design to join our team. The preferred candidate will be in charge of operating and preserving the Direct Imaging (DI) printing machine, while also offering design assist for pre-press and layout duty.

Primary duties

• Operate and preserve DI (Direct Imaging) printing machines to generate premium quality print materials.
• Organize and oversee print files for generation.
• Carry out standard procedure servicing & maintenance and diagnosing issues of the DI machine.
• Work alongside the design team to guarantee precise color matching and file setup.
• Evaluate client artwork and ensure files meet print requirements.
• Track print roles for quality and uniformity throughout the generation process.
• Help during planning phase and layout of print-prepared artwork when necessary.
• Oversee due dates and generation plans productively.

Qualifications

• Applicants should have applicable credentials.
• Demonstrated expertise operating DI printing machines.
• At least 1 year expertise in a print generation environment.
• Basic graphic design competencies.
• Deep knowledge of pre-press methods and file project setup.
• Meticulousness and dedication to print quality..
• Capability to operate independently and under pressure..
