Position Overview

  • The Operations and facilities Manager is in charge of the centralized monitoring and business management of various hospitality properties across Lagos.
  • This position make sure that all facilities under the hospitality chain are optimally preserved, conforming with compliance guidelines, and in sync with the company’s service dispatch requirements.
  • The role includes coordinating a network of proficient artisans, vendors, and in-field teams to guarantee uninterrupted processes, cost effectiveness, and a regular visitor expertise.

Primary duties

  • Direct all facility management processes across various hospitality sites, making sure asset honesty and reliability, service uptime, and business continuity.
  • Oversee and organize a mobile network of proficient artisans (electrical, plumbing, Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, carpentry, etc.) to supply prompt and premium quality servicing & maintenance assist across all properties.
  • Execute and track preventive and corrective servicing & maintenance plans to reduce non-operational time and prolong tools lifecycle.
  • Oversee third-party service vendors and vendor agreements, making sure performance threshold agreements (SLAs), adherence guidelines, and key indicators are repeatedly met.
  • Organize, track, and oversee facility business financial plans; ensure expense management, financial responsibility, and asset optimization.
  • Head and assess the effectiveness of in-field facility teams, making sure alignment with corporate KPIs and business benchmarks.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance to health, safety, and ecological (HSE) rules, building codes, and compliance obligations across all sites.
  • Execute facility-wide long-term viability and energy effectiveness programs to reduce operating expenses and ecological consequence.
  • Formulate and preserve crisis preparedness standardized processes, risk risk reduction frameworks, and business continuity strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Facility Management, Engineering, Estate Management, or Business Management.
  • At least 3–5 years of expertise coordinating multi-on-site operations and facilities, ideally inside the hospitality or service sector.
  • Verified ability to oversee a distributed network of technical staff and service vendors.
  • Robust financial planning, data evaluation, and capacity planning competencies.
  • Competence in Office productivity software; practical understanding of CAFM or IWMS channels is a plus.
  • Exhibited capability to lead business efficiencies, ensure adherence to adherence, and oversee facility-associated risks across various branches.
  • Outstanding corporate, information exchange, and executive guidance capabilities.
