Light Vehicle Driver at Dangote Group in Ibese, Ogun

Explanation

The light vehicle driver will be esponsible for safely operating light vehicles to transport people or goods, executing basic servicing & maintenance checks, and making sure prompt and productive dispatch while following all traffic and safety rules.

Primary duties

• Operate allocated Light Motor Vehicles in a safe and productive manner, following supporting traffic legal provisions, rules, and organisation standardized processes.
• Execute routine safety inspections and basic servicing & maintenance checks on the vehicle.
• Carry out pre-business checks and ensure vehicles are cleaned, lubricated, and refueled as per timetable or business needs.
• Track vehicle effectiveness and documentation any servicing & maintenance or fix qualifications to the Manager promptly.
• Ensure standard procedure servicing and cleanliness of the vehicle are preserved at all times.
• Follow proper health and safety protocols and advance office safety during pushing and loading/unloading duty.
• Preserve precise records of trips, fuel usage, and servicing & maintenance checks when necessary.
• Execute additional obligations and transportation-associated duty as allocated by the Manager.

Qualifications

• Primary School Certification, a valid Classes C, E, G or H Driver's Permit + at least 10 years Corporate Pushing Expertise.
• Good expertise in light motor vehicles.
• Effective communication competencies.
• Good comprehension of road safety regulations and signs.
• Baseline issue evaluation and solving competencies.
• Adaptable to operate different changes, weekends, and overtime when necessary.            `
