Position Overview

We are seeking a proficient and meticulous Mobile app Tester to join our Quality assurance team in Abuja. The preferred candidate will possess reliable background running test mobile apps on both Android and iOS channels. You will be in charge of making sure premium quality mobile releases by executing documented guide and automated running test, recognizing bugs, and partnering with developers and UI/UX professionals to enhance app effectiveness and user efficiency.

Primary duties

• Design, formulate, and implement test strategies, test scenarios, and validate scripts for mobile apps.
• Carry out documented guide and automated running test of native and hybrid mobile apps.
• Execute operational, regression, user efficiency, effectiveness, and compatibility running test.
• Record and track faults using resources which includes JIRA or Bugzilla.
• Work alongside cross-operational teams which includes Developers, PMs, and User interface/User experience UI/UX professionals.
• Ensure mobile apps meet business and technical qualifications.
• Test API integrations using resources which includes Postman or Swagger.
• Offer input on UX and app capability.
• Stay informed with the latest practices in mobile running test resources and technical solutions.

Necessary Credentials:

• At least 3 years of expertise in mobile app running test.
• Solid understanding of Android and iOS operating operational structures.
• Expertise with running test resources like Appium, Selenium, Postman, JIRA, etc.
• Comprehension of software lifecycle and Nimble structured approaches.
• Expertise with automated running test frameworks will be an added advantage.
• Effective communication and critical thinking.
• Capability to operate independently and within a collaborative environment.
