Role summary

As Finance Director in a agile external contracting environment, you will head the financial processes of the company, making sure strategic alignment between financial targets and service dispatch targets. You will be in charge of financial planning, expense management, pricing models, profit evaluation, finance reporting, and adherence. The preferred candidate will possess robust business-related strategic insight and expertise coordinating finance in a dynamic, agreement-driven business model.

Primary duties

• Head the development and implementation of financial plans to assist the organization’s external contracting growth model.
• Offer financial findings and projections to mentor business-related strategic judgment and new agreement offers.
• Advise senior management on financial risks, avenues, and long-term viability.
• Oversee the yearly financial planning process across various external contracting units (e.g., Human resources, IT, BPO).
• Supervise expense management programs and margin optimization for contracted out solutions.
• Evaluate and monitor productivity of service-level agreements (SLAs) against financial KPIs.
• Collaborate with business development and processes teams on pricing models for customer proposals.
• Ensure agreement profit margin through thorough financial forecasting and margin evaluation.
• Track agreement scope changes and oversee customer invoicing systems productively.
• Generate prompt and precise financial statements for within and outside the organization participants.
• Guarantee adherence with local and international accounting guidelines, tax legal provisions, and audit qualifications.
• Head external audit methods and preserve robust internal financial regulates.
• Oversee organisation money movement, customer payment plans, and supplier obligations.
• Enhance operating capital through outstanding invoices and payables management.
• Build and head a top-performing finance team across sites (if relevant).
• Collaborate with Processes, Human resources, Procurement, and Business Development to align financial procedures with organisation targets.

Expertise:

• At least 10 years of progressive finance executive guidance expertise, with a minimum of 3 years in an external contracting, BPO, or service-based business.
• Expertise operating with multi-customer agreements, pricing, and SLA key indicators.
• Solid experience in financial planning, predicting, and finance reporting.

Competencies & Skills:

• Strong insight of external contracting industry dynamics (e.g., employees cost modelling, customer churn, dispatch expenses).
• Robust business-related judgment and capability to collaborate with non-finance teams.
• Competence with Enterprise platform planning/financial operational structures (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Xero).
• Outstanding executive guidance, bargain, and verbal abilities.
