Position Overview

We pursue an skilled Health, safety, and environment Manager to head our health, safety, and ecological program. The position is critical to making sure zero harm processes and adherence with Nigerian and international Health, safety, and environment guidelines.

Primary duties

  • Formulate and execute complete Health, safety, and environment management operational structures
  • Guarantee adherence with Nigerian Health, safety, and environment rules and international guidelines
  • Head system issue investigative and root cause evaluation
  • Carry out Health, safety, and environment audits and risk evaluations
  • Design and supply Health, safety, and environment development program
  • Track Health, safety, and environment effectiveness and organize documentation
  • Interface with compliance-related governing bodies and customers on Health, safety, and environment matters
  • Head crisis-management organizing and preparedness
  • Advance Health, safety, and environment culture throughout the company
  • Oversee Health, safety, and environment financial plan and assets

Necessary Credentials

  • Bsc in Safety Engineering, Ecological Science, or relevant field
  • At least 8 years of Health, safety, and environment expertise in petroleum sector processes
  • Specialist Health, safety, and environment qualifications (NEBOSH, OSHA, etc.)
  • Expertise with Health, safety, and environment management operational structures (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001)
  • Expertise in Nigerian Health, safety, and environment rules
  • Effective guidance and verbal abilities
  • Expertise in system issue investigative and evaluation
  • Risk evaluation and management proficiency

Preferred Credentials:

  • MSC in Health, safety, and environment or relevant field
  • Expertise with well intervention processes
  • International Health, safety, and environment qualifications
  • Crisis-management development and expertise
  • Ecological leadership background
  • Compliance-related interface expertise.
