Position Overview

The Operational aid & Bill Admin (Program officer) is in charge of coordinating billing methods, accounting records, and managerial assist for petroleum sector processes. This position ensures precise invoicing, adherence with Customer’s binding and financial guidelines, and prompt status updates to internal and customer participants.

Position Description

• Organize, confirm, and send bills in line with Customer’s agreement conditions and invoicing cycles.
• Ensure precise 3-way match between buy orders (POs), bills, and dispatch notes or packing slips.
• Settle bill discrepancies by coordinating with with procurement, finance, and project teams.
• Preserve structured records of financial financial record and evidence files for audits.
• Track and resolve project-associated expenses which includes work, tools, and materials.
• Assist end of month closure initiatives and finance reporting.
• Guarantee adherence with Customer’s billing rules and Nigerian financial rules.
• Help in getting ready documentation, demonstrations, and recordkeeping for customer sessions.
• Use financial system (e.g., SAP, OpenInvoice, BC Quartz) and Office productivity software resources for records entry and status updates.
• Offer general managerial assist to the business unit, which includes planning, submitting, and correspondence

Qualifications

• Certification or Academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or relevant field.
• 3–5 years of expertise in bill management or operational aid in petroleum sector or industrial sectors.
• Competence in financial system and Excel spreadsheet software.
• Understanding with billing and procurement operational structures (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of Nigerian tax and financial adherence guidelines.
