Position Overview

The Material Assist Technician is in charge of coordinating the flow of resources, tools, and materials crucial for drilling, generation, and servicing & maintenance processes. This position ensures on-time completion, precise stock tracking, and safe managing of materials in adherence with industry guidelines and safety rules.

Position Description

  • Accept, examine, and record incoming materials, which includes pipes, valves, drilling resources, and safety tools. 
  • Organize the storage and allocation of materials to rigs, channels, or site sites.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, and other material managing tools in adherence with Health, safety, and environment guidelines. 
  • Preserve precise stock records using Enterprise platform planning operational structures (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Maximo). 
  • Organize and problem materials to fabrication, building, or servicing & maintenance teams based on work orders and project plans. 
  • Assist material traceability by documenting heat numbers, batch codes, and qualifications. 
  • Organize kits and bundles for remote marine operations or remote on-site deploying. 
  • Track inventory levels and start restocking methods to prevent business setbacks. 
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and managing of hazardous materials (e.g., chemicals, lubricants). 
  • Assist logistics and shipping processes, which includes customs recordkeeping for international transport. 
  • Work alongside procurement, warehouse, and site teams to guarantee material accessibility. 
  • Engage in safety sessions and support to ongoing development programs. 
  • Guarantee adherence with Customer’s waste management and ecological standardized processes.

Objective

  • He liaises with Organisation programmatic team for organizing of short- and medium-term initiatives.
  • He checks and make sure that vital tools on generation sites is accessible as and when necessary.
  • He is in charge of recognizing advancement avenues and basic defect elimination from the daily implementation of work. 
  • He is in charge of conforming to OIMS Work Management system.

Qualifications

  • Secondary school Siploma or technical accreditation in Logistics, Stock Chain, or Industrial Processes.
  • 4 years of expertise in material managing within petroleum sector or heavy industry.
  • Understanding with Customer’s material regulate standardized processes and Enterprise platform planning operational structures.
  • Basic comprehension of electrical, instrument, mechanical parts, welding materials, piping parts, and structural steel.
