Role summary

The Logistics coordinator will be in charge of organizing, managing, and supervising all logistics initiatives, which includes vehicle planning, product allocation, and stock movement. The position ensures on-time completion of goods, proper vehicle management, and adherence with organisation guidelines.

Duties

• Strategy and organize routine logistics processes to assist supplies and event culinary service.
• Oversee and allocate organisation vehicles for pickups, supplies, and employees transportation.
• Ensure drivers and vehicles adhere with safety, servicing & maintenance, and compliance obligations.
• Track fuel usage, servicing & maintenance plans, and vehicle recordkeeping (e.g., permits, coverage).
• Keep documentation of supplies, dispatch plans, and logistics documentation.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and procurement team to guarantee prompt stock of unedited materials.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to track and verify supplies.
• Manage logistics concerns (setbacks, breakdowns, crises) quickly and productively.
• Ensure productive use of assets to reduce business expenses.
• Execute and ensure adherence to organisation rules regarding logistics and fleet management.

Duties

• Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Logistics, Stock Chain Management, Business Management, or a relevant field.
• At least 2 – 3 years’ expertise in logistics or fleet management (ideally in food, FMCG, or hospitality sector).
• Solid understanding of Lagos routes and traffic patterns.
• Competence in MS Excel and basic logistics software.
• Robust corporate and analytical abilities.
• Task juggling skill, perform in high-stress situations, and deliver on time.
• Clear articulation and team lead competencies.
