Job Description

Formulate and preserve credit rules, standardized processes, and underwriting standard procedures.
Execute scoring models and risk-modified pricing plans in partnership with data and data analysis teams.
Supervise credit evaluation methods across goods (personal loans, SME lending, etc.).
Authorize credit decisions within appointed authority limits; report to higher support tier higher-risk cases.
Track project sample quality, delinquency practices, and advance notice signals
Head a team of credit analysts and underwriters (if relevant).
Educate and train support personnel on credit methods and risk frameworks.
Collaborate with Product, Processes, Collections, and Technology to align credit plan with business targets.
Optimize productivity through digital KYC, credit bureau consolidation, and alternative data usage.

Bsc in Finance, Economics, Business, or relevant field; Master of business administration or CA preferred.
3–5 years of expertise in credit underwriting, credit risk, or associated positions in financial solutions.
Deep knowledge of credit goods, lending lifecycle, and risk indicators.
Exposure to credit bureau documentation, financial report evaluation, and scoring models.
Expertise with NBFCs, financial technology channels, or banks is highly preferred.
Logical mentality with firm resolution-making and verbal abilities.
Understanding with governance policies (RBI, NBFC norms) will be an added advantage.
