Entry Network Organizing Engineer at Equinix Nigeria in Victoria Island, Lagos

Position Overview

Works with Network Architecture team to convert architecture qualifications into operational base level settings. Executes tests that assist deploying preparedness decision.

Duties Diagnosing issues

Engages during the formation and /or produce diagnosing issues advisors and instructs the NSE team on the operational base and how to diagnose issues concerns Engages with NSE as needed to diagnose issues layer 1-3 network concerns skilled by end clients and service vendors

Network Design:

Translates high level architectural designs into operational base settings, and iteratively conceptualizes design modifications based on running test In charge of conceptualizing methods of standardized process that execute the design modifications in the network channels

Initiating/System setups:

• Produce engineering deploying bundles (EDPs), which includes rack elevation drawings, space and power qualifications, cable run lists, and any other on-site specific recordkeeping
• Executes first installation of new tech or solutions
• Concludes recordkeeping for use by Processes (EDPs, settings, and development advisors)
• Concludes fee preparedness

Running test & Confirmation:

• Conceptualizes test strategies and plans to exercise channels, which includes function effectiveness, load stress redundancy, business alarms and indicators
• Conceptualizes and performs software test strategies and standardized processes
• Conceptualizes and boosts regression and acceptance tests
• Executes practical tests to confirm proof of notions, network design, network deploying, and introduction of solutions and capabilities

Development:

Conceptualizes development mentor for NSE staff

Credentials

Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer Engineering or relevant field preferred 5-7 years of associated expertise.
