Job Description
Primary duties
- Offer individual and group counselling to assist students’ emotional, community-related, and academic growth.
- Mentor students in setting and delivering academic, personal, and professional objectives.
- Work alongside teachers, parents, and school employees to handle student matters and formulate tailored action strategies.
- Proposal crisis intervention assist and, as required, refer students to external experts or assets.
- Design and coordinate workshops and seminars on topics which includes stress management, profession organizing, study competencies, and dispute settlement.
- Preserve precise, current, and private student records.
- Promote a positive and welcoming school environment that prioritizes student well-being and personal development.
Credentials
- Applicants should have a B.A. Ed, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent Academic qualification in Direction & Counselling, Psychology, or a relevant field.
- Must possess 3–10 years of industry experience in school counselling or a relevant position.
- Solid understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Clear articulation, interpersonal, and analytical abilities.
- Verified ability to manage sensitive concerns with competence and secrecy.
- Applicable qualifications or expert development are a desirable asset.
