Executive manager, Enterprise Engineering at Tek Experts in Victoria Island, Lagos

Overview

We're looking for a highly skilled Executive manager: Enterprise Engineering to strategize and implement the enterprise engineering plan, supply resilient and ability to scale channels, and head modernization programs across the company. In this position, you will collaborate with cross-operational key stakeholders, regulate enterprise engineering procedures, guarantee adherence with guard and compliance guidelines, and build a top-performing engineering culture. You will supervise dispatch of enterprise-wide channels, oversee financial plans and vendors, and train top level managers and technical key stakeholders to foster creativity and business effect.

Duties

• Strategize and implement the enterprise engineering plan in line with entire business and tech roadmaps.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, and structure key stakeholders to supply enterprise-wide channels and divided solutions.
• Lead modernization programs which includes cloud migration, API-first development, Development-operations, AI/automatic control, and containerization.
• Supervise the design, build, and consolidation of enterprise channels (APIs, middleware, identity management, divided solutions).
• Ensure adaptability, scalability, and guard across enterprise tech stacks.
• Regulate and standardize engineering procedures cross-departmentally and business domains.
• Oversee enterprise engineering collection of projects, making sure dispatch within scope, financial plan, and timelines.
• Execute engineering compliance frameworks in sync with compliance-related, guard, and adherence qualifications.
• Supervise risk mitigation strategy, disaster recovery, observability, and business adaptability.
• Ensure channels and solutions adhere with enterprise guard and data confidentiality rules.
• Head, mentor, and train top level managers, architects, and technical key stakeholders.
• Build an environment that fosters engineering superiority, creative invention, and responsibility.
• Lead skill building, succession organizing, and diversity programs within enterprise engineering.
• Oversee enterprise engineering financial plans, projections, and cost optimization.
• Supervise strategic vendor connections and third-party tech strategic collaborations.
• Ensure value actualisation and ROI from enterprise engineering investments.

Credentials Education:

Bsc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Operational structures, or a associated technical site (compulsory). Postgraduate academic qualification which includes a Master’s in Engineering, Information Tech, or Master of business administration (preferred).

Expertise:

• 10 - 15 years in tech and software engineering, with a minimum of 5–7 years in executive team positions coordinating large, multi-disciplinary technical groups.
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise-scale engineering which includes operational base engineering, operational structures consolidation, middleware, and cloud-native architecture.
• Track document of top enterprise modernization programs which includes cloud transformation, API-first development, Development-operations adoption, and automatic control at scale.
• Exhibited success in overseeing engineering procedures across various business units, making sure adherence, guard, and enterprise guidelines.
• Practical participation in designing and supplying resilient, secure, and ability to scale channels that assist various business domains.
• Expertise coordinating engineering financial plans, vendor connections, and enterprise tech portfolios.
• Solid experience in legal adherence, risk mitigation strategy, and IT compliance within sophisticated, controlled industries (e.g., banking, financial technology, telecom).
• Verified ability to build and train top level managers and technical key stakeholders, nurturing top-performing engineering cultures.

Necessary Qualifications:

• AWS Accredited Enterprise solutions architect – Specialist.
• Microsoft Azure Enterprise solutions architect Specialist.
• Google Cloud Specialist Cloud Architect.
• TOGAF (The Launch Group Architecture Structure).
• ITIL v4 (Coordinating Specialist or Strategic Leader level).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Zachman Structure (enterprise architecture).
• CISSP or CISM (guard & adherence).
• Accredited Kubernetes Admin (CKA) or equivalent (Development-operations & automatic control).
• MuleSoft Accredited Consolidation Architect, Apache Kafka Qualifications, or equivalent (data & consolidation).
• Executive education programs or Digital Transformation qualifications.
