Corporate head, MSH Nigeria at Management Sciences for Health (MSH) in Nigeria

Position Overview

The MSH Nigeria Corporate head will play a pivotal position in deepening and expanding MSH’s shape in Nigeria. In the position of Corporate head, she/he will supervise the processes of MSH Nigeria, LTD/GTE  (“MSH Nigeria”) with direction from and under the oversight (direct or indirect) of the MSH Nigeria Board of Directors (on which Board the Corporate head also sits) and the MSH, Inc, Chief of operations (COO), and in accordance with relevant Nigerian legal provisions and rules, donor regulations, and relevant MSH, Inc. rules, which includes without constraint legal provisions, regulations and rules concerning MSH Nigeria, processes.  The MD is at the forefront of MSH Nigeria business development programs, optimizing our visibility inside the country through the development of connections, and assisting the growth and long-term viability of the MSH operational base in Nigeria. The MD will spearhead the development and execution of a strategic business strategy tailored for Nigeria to role MSH as a pivotal player in optimizing health system capabilities and delivering universal health care across the country. The MD will supervise MSH Nigeria project execution in Nigeria, making sure that projects and their teams accomplish targets, within financial plan, and in full compliance to binding and MSH regulatory framework qualifications. Partnering closely with Worldwide teams spanning MSH, the MD will advocate technical superiority, making sure all programs reflect MSH's high guidelines, core values, and purpose. As the ambassador and support for Nigeria's programs within MSH global, the MD will unify and harmonize MSH Nigeria's multifaceted projects and teams within Nigeria, nurturing information exchange within Nigeria and with MSH internationally.

Necessary Expertise:

• At least 15 years of expertise in community health, which includes comprehensive expertise in technical community health execution, and expertise coordinating health operational structures projects.
• Proven expertise capital raising, operating with donor entities, and advocating an company at a advanced position.
• Established network of personal and institutional connections in community health in Nigeria
• Proven expertise in shaping, discussing terms, and coordinating connections with high-level key stakeholders and associates.
• Expertise coordinating large agreements and financial plans financed by donors which includes USAID, UN, World Bank, etc., especially in the health sector, is highly preferred.
• Expertise in the private or public sector with business strategic insight.
