Role summary

We’re seeking a meticulous SEO manager to assist us and our customers grow visibility, attract visitors, and rank higher on search engines.

About the Position

  • As our Search specialist, you will be in charge of organizing and carrying out SEO plans that boost organic growth for Wildfire and our customers.
  • You’ll work alongside our content, design, and development teams to guarantee all digital assets are optimized for search and supply maintainable traffic growth.
  • This is a hybrid position. You’ll work remotely most of the time but must be accessible for occasional onsite partnership at our Ilupeju workspace.

Primary duties

  • SEO Plan & Implementation: Formulate and execute on-page and off-page SEO plans for Wildfire and customer projects.
  • Keyword Analysis: Recognize high-value keywords and enhance content around them.
  • On-page Optimization: Enhance website systems, metadata, internal linking, and content for maximum visibility.
  • Technical SEO: Work alongside developers to guarantee proper on-site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability.
  • Content Partnership: Collaborate with creative writers to guarantee blog posts, landing pages, and promotion content are SEO-friendly.
  • Link Building: Execute ethical link-building plans to enhance domain authority.
  • Data analysis & Status updates: Track SEO effectiveness using resources like Google Data analysis, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Organize consistent documentation with practical findings.
  • Ongoing development: Stay informed on SEO practices, algorithm status reports, and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of expertise in SEO, ideally in a digital agency or technology organisation.
  • Solid understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Competence with SEO resources (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of Google Data analysis, Search Console, and keyword analysis methods.
  • Effective communication competencies for cross-team partnership.
  • Capability to interpret data and show findings in a clear way.
  • Understanding with WordPress or other CMS channels will be an added advantage.
  • Must be cozy with a hybrid work setup.
