What’s the position
- The Agreement Organizer plays a pivotal position in making sure the smooth lifecycle management of agreements for Shell Nigeria Gas (SNG).
- This position works closely with the CP head and is in charge of comprehensive post-honor agreement administration.
- It also serves as the Agreement Holder for critical agreements (Incl. key service agreements).
- The role is critical to supplying SNG’s business, safety, and business-related targets while safeguarding the organization from binding, financial, business, and lawful risks.
What you’ll be doing
- Serve as the primary communication link between the business and suppliers for all binding matters.
- Serve as the formal Agreement Holder for critical agreements (which includes key service agreements).
- Oversee and track agreement effectiveness, which includes adherence with scope, outputs, timelines, expense management, and quality qualifications.
- Organize and chair Business Effectiveness Assessments (BPRs) for all critical SNG agreements to track KPIs, settle disputes, and ensure ongoing development.
- Ensure expired agreement close-outs are carried out with proper recordkeeping, lessons learned, and asset/material settlement.
- Assurance that all elevated-risk agreements possess strong Health, safety, and environment strategies in place and are being actively executed.
- Track supplier adherence with binding, compliance-related, and ethical qualifications, escalating concerns where necessary.
- Process scope changes, extensions, amendments, and adjustment orders in adherence with compliance standardized processes.
- Lead cost savings programs and value enhancements through supplier relation and strategic agreement administration.
- Work alongside internal participants to settle business concerns affecting agreement dispatch.
- Assist the pre-honor process.
What you bring
- Bsc in stock chain management, Engineering, Business Management, Law, or relevant field.
- Specialist qualifications which includes CIPS, ICM, or equivalent is a plus.
- At least 6 years’ expertise in agreements management, ideally inside the petroleum sector or energy sector.
- Exhibited competence in pre- and post-honor agreement methods, planned procurement, and supplier management.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian work legal provisions, procurement compliance, and Health, safety, and environment rules.
- Established history in coordinating service agreements and mitigating co-job or lawful risks.
