Risk Regulatory manager at Strivo Labs in Nigeria

About the Position

At Strivo Labs, we are building digital goods that transform financial solutions and e-commerce. To preserve trust, guard, and compliance-related superiority, we are recruiting a Risk & Regulatory manager who will ensure protection of our processes, ensure legal adherence, and proactively mitigate threats.

Primary duties

• Formulate and execute risk mitigation strategy and adherence frameworks tailored to financial solutions and e-commerce processes.
• Recognize, evaluate, and track business, financial, business, and compliance-related risks.
• Guarantee adherence with NDPR, GDPR, CBN rules, PCI-DSS, AML/CFT legal provisions, and other applicable guidelines.
• Carry out consistent audits and adherence assessments cross-functional units.
• Coordinate with authorities, auditors, and lawful teams on adherence matters.
• Explore adherence breaches, design corrective actions, and ensure adherence to responsibility.
• Offer employees development and consciousness programs on adherence and risk mitigation strategy.
• Organize consistent risk and adherence documentation for management and board of directors.

Credentials & Competencies

• Bsc in Law, Finance, Risk mitigation strategy, or relevant field.
• Specialist qualifications which includes CRISC, CAMS, ISO 31000, CISA, or Adherence qualifications are a plus.
• At least 5 years’ expertise in risk & adherence within financial solutions and/or e-commerce.
• Deep knowledge of compliance obligations in Nigeria and international guidelines
• Outstanding logical, investigation, and analytical abilities.
• Clear expression and stakeholder engagement abilities.
