Role summary

The General Surgeon is in charge of executing surgical standardized processes to treat a range of medical terms affecting internal organs, soft tissues, and other body operational structures. The position includes analyzing patients, organizing and carrying out surgical interventions, and partnering with cross-functional teams to guarantee most effective patient care and results.

Primary duties

• Assess patients to decide the need for surgery and the best surgical approach.
• Execute surgical processes on various parts of the body, which includes but not limited to the abdomen, gastrointestinal tract, and soft tissues.
• Offer preoperative and postoperative care, which includes discussions, follow-ups, and management of complications.
• Work jointly with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare experts to guarantee safe and efficient surgical standardized processes.
• Analyze diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds) to guide treatment decisions.
• Preserve precise and thorough patient records, which includes operative notes and discharge overviews.
• Teach patients and their families about surgical standardized processes, risks, and postoperative care strategies.
• Stay informed on the latest surgical methods, technical solutions, and industry standards.
• Follow hospital rules, safety procedures, and professional conduct in all clinical initiatives.
• Engage in standard enhancement programs and ongoing medical education.
