Job Description

The Objective

Under the oversight of the EcoSec Assign, the Economic Guard Generalist 2 designs, strategies, executes and observes the ICRC’s economic guard (EcoSec) program in line with the country plan.

Your Position

  • Carries out EcoSec evaluation and other sectoral evaluations using EcoSec standard structured approach and resources in the business zones as per the need and direction of the EcoSec Assign.
  • Collects and evaluation data using standard EcoSec data-collection resources, devices and structured approach.
  • Drafts evaluation documentation using EcoSec standard design frameworks and analyze and report results using insight-driven data. The candidate make sure that the documentation precisely reflects the entire circumstance of the target population and their comprehensive needs, to design an efficient multidisciplinary response for the affected networks.
  • Supports to analysing the guard, socioeconomic, cultural and political environment as it concerns the ICRC.
  • Designs and executes an EcoSec program through various response options (i.e relief, livelihood recovery, etc) using suitable modality (e.g. in-kind, CVA, etc).
  • Directs market evaluations and market supervising and make sure that supporting information affecting cash and market-based responses are promptly divided with EcoSec Assign and other team members.
  • Supports to designing and executing voucher, fair, food/cash-for-work, cashier support programs.
  • Make sure that process supervising and result supervising are prompt executed, and outcomes are divided with EcoSec Assign and applicable team members.
  • Takes part in expanding or strengthening the sub- assignment's network of connections among the population, the local governing bodies and/or other participants.
  • Supports to the development of the capacity-building endeavors of the NRCS voluntary assistants through mentoring, on site development sessions, and simulation as needed.
  • Support to drafting Evaluation documentation, Site Trip Documentation, Supervising documentation, and other necessary documentation as per the direction of the EcoSec Assign.
  • Guarantee promptness status updates of milestone tracking by offering frequent updates in Project and Activity Management (PAM).
