Job Description
Child Safeguarding
- The duties of this post may require the post holder to possess consistent reach out with children and young people.

Position Objective
The applicant will offer statistical evaluation additional details to assist management strategic judgment inside the Child Protection for the Reaching out of school (ROOSC) Project in Kaduna state. The CPIMS Officer will help in the setting up and execution of the information management system as part of case management responses for children at risk to abuse, exploitation, neglect and violence. The applicant will ensure an current and quality data on both program effectiveness and quality dispatch while preserving high specialist guidelines of all our Child Protection Program.
Scope of Position
- To guarantee all information collected from the site sites as part of case management responses for children harmed or vulnerable of being harmed are safely and precisely filed and stored.
- To assist case workers in coordinating their caseload by extracting individual caseload information.
- To guarantee that all information security procedures are observed while coordinating information collected.
- To uphold the SCI Child Safeguarding Regulatory framework and the Prevention of Sexual of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse inside the office and networks of intervention.
Synchronization & Depiction:
- Productively liaise with child protection caseworkers, Officers, and the Organizer to offer necessary information regarding status updates.
- Routinely participate case management sessions at site level.
- Participate the inter-agency CPIMS sessions.
Responsibility processes:

Other:

Credentials and Expertise
- Bsc in Information Management, Computer Science, Community-related Sciences or its equivalent or Certification in Information Management requiring at least three (3) years’ work expertise in child protection sector
- Expertise in child protection in crises, case management, child rights and protection concerns
- Robust self-starter, capable to proactive action and adjust to evolving situations and key focuses
- Positive mindset towards group collaborate with emphasis on the capability to learn from networks and assist participatory, creative approaches to issue resolution
- Clear articulation competencies and a readiness to be respectful, kind, sensitive and empathise with all children and their carers
- Fluent in documented and spoken English, and Hausa is a plus
- Good documentation skilled in writing
- Readiness and capacity to be adaptable and accommodating when faced with difficult and irritating operating terms
- Dedication to Save the Children’s Child Protection Regulatory framework.
Preferred credentials:
- Previous expertise in operating with IA CPIMS is a plus.
- Good comprehension of MEAL notions in program circumstance
- Comprehension of the dynamics of the refugees is crucial
- Expertise of operating with refugee and organizer networks in a Somali circumstance and other agencies that assist Child Protection and education.
