Job Description
Responsibility
To oversee development sessions for both new and skilled dispatch officers, analyzing their effectiveness to recognize zones needing additional concentration for further advancement. Take charge of top development programs for dispatch officers, supporting significantly to the long-term progression of the Transport Processes operation within MDS.
Evaluation & Assessment:
- Evaluate drivers' effectiveness through practical tests, reviews, and response sessions to recognize zones for advancement and guarantee adherence with safety guidelines.
- Formulate and modify evaluation questions for ongoing assessment of dispatch officers.
- Record possibility applicants using an evaluation form, screening, and screening candidates for on-road running test.
- Assess student effectiveness during pushing lessons to pinpoint zones for advancement.
Guidance & Direction:
Offer guidance and direction to drivers, presenting assist and guidance on optimizing pushing methods, hazard management, and preserving vehicle honesty and reliability.
Other:
- Emphasize and ensure adherence to compliance to safety procedures, rules, and traffic legal provisions, emphasizing defensive pushing methods and accident prevention plans.
- Ensure drivers are well-versed with the technical components of articulated trucks, which includes comprehension servicing & maintenance plans, vehicle inspections, and crisis standardized processes.
- Preserve precise records of development initiatives, evaluations, and driver advancement. Produce documentation highlighting development results and zones needing advancement.
- Stay informed with standardized best practices, technological improvement, and modifications in rules to integrate applicable information into capacity-building plans, nurturing ongoing development among drivers.
- Organize drivers to manage crisis conditions productively, which includes breakdowns, accidents, and adverse weather terms, making sure they take action accordingly and prioritize safety.
- Work alongside management and other participants to guarantee alignment of capacity-building plans with strategic objectives and targets. Coordinate open dialog channels for driver response and suggestions.
- Coordinate with the Health, safety, and environment unit to educate all drivers on MDS’s health, accident and threat control rules and rules.
- Ensure drivers adherence with MDS’s and all other applicable health, accident and threat control rules and rules.
- Engage in system issue/accident investigative.
Credentials Necessary
A Bsc in any of the Community-related Sciences or equivalent.
