Medical Lab technician at Zael Business Management & Consulting in Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for a proficient and meticulous Medical Lab technician to join our healthcare team. The preferred candidate will be in charge of executing laboratory tests, evaluating samples, and making sure precise outcomes that assist the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Primary duties

• Collect, organize, and evaluate body fluids (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) for running test.
• Operate and preserve laboratory tools and instruments.
• Carry out standard procedure and expert laboratory tests with precision and effectiveness.
• Document, analyze, and documentation test outcomes in line with established guidelines.
• Follow safety procedures and quality assurance standardized processes.
• Work alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare experts to assist patient care.
• Preserve proper recordkeeping, sample tracking, and laboratory stock.

Qualifications

• Certification or Academic qualification in Medical Laboratory Tech or relevant field.
• Ongoing permit/accreditation from applicable specialist body.
• Demonstrated expertise as a Medical Lab technician in a clinical setting.
• Solid understanding of laboratory methods, tools, and safety guidelines.
• Outstanding meticulousness and critical thinking.
• Capability to operate under pressure and deliver on time.
• Effective communication and collaborative ability.
