Position Overview

We are looking for for a Credit Officerresponsible for analyzing loan applications, evaluating the creditworthiness of customers, supervising repayment initiatives, and making sure adherence with the company’s credit rules. The position includes preserving a healthy loan project sample, minimizing risk, and assisting customers with financial direction.

Primary duties

• Assess loan applications and evaluate candidates’ financial status, credit data, and repayment capability.
• Carry out risk evaluation and endorse loan authorizations or rejections based on established evaluation benchmarks.
• Track and check in on loan repayments to reduce default rates.
• Preserve precise records of credit applications, authorizations, disbursements, and repayments.
• Carry out site visits to confirm customer information and evaluate collateral

Credentials & Competencies

• Bsc in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, or a relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise in credit evaluation, loan processing, or banking.
• Robust logical, strategic judgment, and risk evaluation competencies.
• Clear articulation and people skills.
• Competence in MS Workspace (Excel, Word, Outlook); expertise with loan management software is a plus.
