Role summary
- Work alongside various departments, which includes sales, lawful, and finance, to collect the necessary information and recordkeeping necessary for tender entries.
- This may engage analyzing tender requirements, evaluating customer qualifications, and recognizing key outputs.
- Assemble all the necessary documents, which includes technical requirements, pricing description, project strategies, and other assisting materials, to produce a complete tender proposal.
- Make sure that all documents are precise, finalize, and provided inside the specified due dates.
- Organize the entry of tender proposals, both electronically and physically, making sure adherence with all tender qualifications and formatting standard procedures.
- Preserve a tracking system to document and track all entries and their respective due dates.
- Help in the assessment of tender entries by arranging assessment sessions, getting ready assessment documentation, and assisting the tender assessment board in their strategic judgment process.
- Work alongside internal participants to handle any explanations or queries elevated during the assessment stage.
- Work alongside the lawful and procurement teams to assist deal discussions with customers or external vendors.
- Evaluate and evaluate agreement conditions and terms, recognize any possibility risks, and guarantee adherence with organisation rules and lawful qualifications.
- Preserve a complete DB of bid proposals, design frameworks, and previous entries for future letter of recommendation and information exchange.
- Constantly modify the DB with new tenders, amendments, or modifications.
- Conceptualizing a Data Base for Pricing Purposes.
- Carry out market analysis to recognize promise tender avenues, track market trends, and collect intelligence on rivals' offering plans.
- Stay informed possessing applicable rules, rules, and procurement procedures that may effect the tendering
- process.
- Formulate and sustain connections with primary stakeholders, which includes customers, vendors, and internal teams, to coordinate clear communication and partnership during the tendering process.
- Recognize zones for workflow optimization inside the tendering operation and propose plans to improve effectiveness, quality, and success rates.
- Routinely evaluate tender results, solicit response, and execute lessons learned for future entries.
- Guarantee adherence with supporting legal provisions, rules, and organisation rules throughout the tendering process.
- Preserve precise records of all tender-associated initiatives, correspondence, and recordkeeping.
Qualifications
- Bsc in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or similar.
- At least 10 years of expertise.
- Applicable a member of a professional body is a plus.
- Previous expertise in a similar position in the Petroleum sector sector is a plus.
- Capable to operate efficiently independently and in a collaborative environment.
- Must possess outstanding logical thinking competencies and issue resolution abilities.
- Should exhibit robust corporate and schedule control abilities.
- Outstanding discussing terms and people skills.
