Driver - PREP at TechnoServe in Kano

Position Overview

The Driver will show a customer-oriented approach, a high sense of duty, courtesy, tact and the capability to operate with people of different national and cultural profile. His/her assist to the project will be centered around dependable and safe pushing solutions to the project team members, TechnoServe employees, visitors and managerial solutions, as necessary, making sure high precision of work.

Primary Processes & Duties

• Ensures offering of dependable and secure pushing solutions by pushing workspace vehicles for the transport of approved staff and dispatch and collection of mail, documents and other items and meeting formal staff and visitors at various sites.
• Preserve and support to regulatory framework information on fleet management.
• Work within cost-saving methods through proper use of vehicles, precise servicing & maintenance of routine vehicle data records, offering of inputs to project setup of the vehicle servicing & maintenance strategies and documentation.
• Proper daily servicing & maintenance of the allocated vehicle through prompt minor repairs, structured for key repairs, prompt modifications of oil, check of tires, brakes, car washing, etc.
• Data records fuel usage, servicing & maintenance etc.
• Work toward accessibility of necessary documents/inventory which includes vehicle coverage, vehicle data records, workspace directory, map of the city/country, first assist kit, and necessary spare parts. Preserve updated document at all times.
• With good expertise in defensive pushing, submit application compliance standards, within and outside the organization rules.
• Delivers physical work solutions in relocation of workspaces and employees moves and delivers assist for sessions and professional forums.
• Ensures steps necessary by regulations, rules and industry standard are was aligned with in case of accident.
• Applies good judgment in the circumstance of tasks provided.
• Steady adherence with the regulatory framework in all carry out of initiatives.
• Offer basic guard management assist in submitting application creative methods to evaluate and minimize risk especially inside the site of work.
• Offer other project associated assist support as may be allocated Manager.

Preferred Credentials:

• Previous expertise in carrying out bridge role with government, international agencies or Nonprofit organizations with at least 2 years’ work expertise as a driver in Lagos.
• Safe pushing document.
• Expertise in pushing compliance standards and competencies in minor vehicle fix.

Necessary Languages:

Understanding with the local language and English Language

A minimum of 50% of the time
