Role summary

We are looking for an skilled and meticulous Head of financial operations & Accounts to supervise the financial health and long-term viability of our healthcare facility. The preferred applicant will merge robust technical accounting competencies with the capability to offer strategic financial executive guidance in a agile and dynamic healthcare environment.

Primary duties

• Head every facet of finance Management, which includes financial planning, predicting, and status updates.
• Supervise routine finance and accounting processes, which includes outstanding bills/receivable, wage processing, and adjustments.
• Guarantee adherence with statutory rules, tax obligations, and organizational guidelines.
• Formulate financial plans to aid development, cost effectiveness, and long-term long-term viability.
• Oversee financial audits and coordinate with auditors, banks, authorities, and other participants.
• Offer financial findings to top level management for informed strategic judgment.
• Execute and track internal regulates to ensure protection of corporate assets.
• Oversee and train the finance team to build capacity and boost results.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (MSC or a member of a professional body preferred – ICAN, ACCA, CFA).
• At least 7 years’ progressive finance/accounting expertise, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or chief position.
• Solid understanding of financial rules, tax legal provisions, and healthcare/NGO accounting procedures.
• Outstanding logical, issue resolution, and management abilities.
• Competence in financial system and improved MS Excel.
• High level of honesty and reliability, responsibility, and meticulousness.
