Position Objective

The Corporate head (MD) is in charge of offering entire executive guidance, organizational approach, and business monitoring of the Microfinance Bank. The MD ensures the bank’s profit margin, legal adherence, financial long-term viability, and alignment with its aspiration of supporting financial addition.

Primary duties

• Offer strategic executive guidance and direction for the bank in line with rules authorized by board of directors of Directors.
• Develop, execute, and track business plans that lead profit margin, long-term viability, and growth.
• Guarantee adherence with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), NDIC, and all other compliance obligations.
• Supervise daily processes, making sure effectiveness, client fulfillment, and compliance to industry standards.
• Head risk mitigation strategy procedures, which includes credit project sample quality, liquidity, and process risk regulate.
• Foster creativity and digital transformation to enhance financial solutions dispatch and client reach.
• Build and preserve solid connections with participants, which includes clients, authorities, shareholders, and the group.
• Organize and show periodic business and financial statements to board of directors of Directors.
• Advocate business oversight, transparency, responsibility, and ethical business procedures.
• Head, train, and motivate management and employees to attain corporate targets.
• Recognize and formulate new goods, solutions, and markets that match with the bank’s purpose of financial addition.

Credentials & Expertise

• At least a Bsc in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a relevant field.
• A MSC (Master of business administration, Master's degree) and/or specialist qualifications (ACIB, ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CIBN) is a plus.
• At least 10 years of banking expertise, a minimum of 5 years in top level management roles within microfinance, business-related, or development banking.
• Deep knowledge of CBN rules, microfinance processes, credit management, and finance Management.
• Established history of business expansion, executive guidance, and strategic implementation.
