Position Overview

As an Application Support officer, you'll offer IT assistance to both internal teams and external customers, oversee ticketing operational structures, support operations recordkeeping, and ensure smooth processes across software apps. You'll be an integral part of a cooperative help desk, assisting to settle concerns, execute fixes, and support to the stability and advancement of our initiatives.

Primary duties

• Offer daily IT assistance for internal teams and external customers.
• Execute application deploying and upgrades, system patching, and consolidation of digital platforms.
• Explore reported concerns by evaluating log files, system settings, and other applicable data, and utilize issue resolution methods to recognize root causes and execute suitable initiatives.
• Oversee a ticketed query system and preserve a complete DB of concerns and outcomes.
• Preserve and modify system manuals, assist standardized processes, deploying settings and system status reports.
• Supply technical development sessions to internal teams.
• Work alongside the development team to execute software running test, which includes operational running test and regression running test, to guarantee the stability and reliability of applications.
• Support to uninterrupted service excellence programs.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree or Higher national diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a associated technical site.
• Must possess finished NYSC programme.
• Must not be older than 33 years as in the end birthday.
• Basic comprehension of system management.
• Good comprehension of the software lifecycle, Dotnet structure, and APIs.
• Robust diagnosing issues and critical thinking.
• Capability to learn quickly and adjust to new resources and operational structures.
• Robust documented and spoken communication competencies for efficient problem status updates.
• Capability to operate jointly within a team.
• Well-structured, meticulous, and capable to oversee key focuses productively.
• Practical understanding of version regulate operational structures (e.g., Git) is a plus.
