IT Operations support assistant at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) in Ibadan, Oyo

Obligations

• Work along with other SPOC (Single Point of Reach out) to accept and document all request/concerns/service issues/incidents from final user.
• Allocate tickets already logged through the Institutional helpdesk- FreshService to the accessible ServiceDesk Evaluator.
• Log, accept and address system issue/request/issue on FreshService.
• Client engagement on all tickets allocated and from final user to finalization and outcomes.
• Make sure that all requests and questions on IT matters and initiatives are promptly participated to and closed correctly with the suitable response to the fulfillment of the client.
• Collaborate with final users to recognize and supply necessary PC performance thresholds.
• Evaluate malfunctions of computing equipment of software apps to decide suitable actions to preserve computer and network processes.
• Execute any other responsibility as may be allocated by the Manager.

Credentials

National Certification in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Information Tech or relevant field requiring at least six (6) years’ expertise executing similar position in a well-organized environment.
