Forklift driver at Nlightin Limited in Bauchi

Overview

We are looking for a dependable and safety-aware Forklift driver to join our team. The successful applicant will be in charge of operating forklifts and other material-managing tools to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise or materials in our warehouse and/or logistics facility.

Primary duties

• Operate forklifts safely and productively in adherence with organisation rules and safety guidelines.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and goods.
• Execute routine tools checks (battery, brakes, fuel/oil levels, etc.) to guarantee forklifts are in good operating requirement.
• Preserve precise stock records by scanning, tagging, or updating system entries.
• Help with arranging warehouse space for most effective effectiveness.
• Documentation any compensation, shortages, or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all health, safety, and ecological (HSE) standard procedures.
• Assist general warehouse obligations as allocated.

Credentials & Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise as a forklift driver in a warehouse, logistics, or production operations environment.
• At least [X years] applicable professional background.
• Valid forklift accreditation/permit (where relevant).
• Capability to operate forklifts and other material-managing tools safely.
• Basic comprehension of warehouse management operational structures (WMS) is a plus.
• Good physical requirement with the capability to lift heavy items when necessary.
• Robust meticulousness, schedule control, and collaborative ability.
