Position Overview

The Finance, Audit & Status updates Head is a key strategic position accountable for managing and managing the evaluate, confirmation, and merger of financial, audit, and effectiveness status updates across business units. This position ensures full adherence with organizational guidelines, compliance obligations, and audit frameworks while offering critical findings and overviews to assist executive strategic judgment at the VP level. Serving as the primary communication link between the Workspace of the VP and various business processes, the Finance, Audit & Status updates Head supports productive information exchange, observes compliance to compliance guidelines, and supervises engagements with external parties on tax adherence and investor relations matters. The position needs robust logical strategic insight, close focus to description, and the capability to bring to attention key practices, risks, and intervention points that effect corporate plan and business honesty and reliability.

Duties

• Evaluate all documents from Business units and processes, for thoroughness, precision and significance for the VP’s ultimate choice
• Confirm the managing of all exceptions from the Group Supervisor – Workspace of the VP as input to getting ready concluding documents for visual communication to the VP
• Verify full compliance to organisation rules, standard procedures and other directives from the workspace of the VP
• Evaluate Financial statements and bring to attention key practices, observations and interventions points necessary by the workspace of the VP
• Condense key highlights of Effectiveness Documentation distilling key notes for the attention for the VP
• Coordinate all engagements with 3rd parties on Tax Adherence or Investor Relations matters.
• Organize an up-to date authorization log of all entries for the VP’s authorization and ensure YES/NO decisions within set response times as accepted by the VP.
• Help the Group Supervisor – Workspace of the VP, in highlighting key decisions/ intervention points for the attention of the VP
• Track full adherence with the entire Audit Structure which includes compliance approach, standardized processes, methods and resources in compliance to organisation rules, standard procedures and other directives from the workspace of the VP

Skilled Necessary

10 years’ expertise in Finance, with a minimum of 5 years at Advanced position § At least 10 years’ Audit or Lawful work expertise with a minimum of 5 years leadership background At least 5 years’ expertise with a elite Audit firm Expertise across various industries/markets e.g. Production operations, Energy, Utilities. International work expertise is a plus
