Dispatch Confirmation & Planning Organizer at Dangote Industries Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

To serve as the gateman for all incoming dispatch requests, verifying each "call-off" against all prerequisites before authorizing it as prepared for planning. This position ensures the honesty and reliability and precision of the full scope of planning process.

Duties

• Accept, log, and recognize all client dispatch "call-off" requests provided through the organization’s application.
• Confirm that all terms for each request are fulfilled, which includes station ullage verification, clear account status, and accurate application of any rolling balances.
• Proactively engage with clients or the business-related team to settle any unmet terms, making sure orders do not get stuck in the system.
• Act as the first point of reach out for addressing discrepancies connected with order quantities or product balances.
• Convey the concluding, approved list of "prepared-to-timetable" call-offs to the Planning Team.

Key Interfaces:

Internal: Allocation Organizing Team, Planning Team, Customer experience (all levels). External: Clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, or a relevant field.
• 2-4 years of expertise in order management, client support, or logistics synchronization.
• High meticulousness and a methodical approach to methods.
• Robust analytical abilities and the capability to convey transparently and competently with clients.
• Competence in Enterprise platform planning and CRM operational structures.
