About the Position

• The Director of Academics for KwaraLEARN will ultimately be in charge of teaching results across schools.
• The Director of Academics will project oversee all academic events and programs for KwaraLEARN. This work will require synchronization between NewGlobe education specialists known as Divided Solutions, who work in instructional design, generation, development, and creative invention.
• The Academic Director serves as the link between Divided Solutions and the information from schools, government authorities, and civil society. This work will be codified in a annually academic strategize which the Academic Director owns.
• Inside the KwaraLEARN team, the Director of Academics will collaborate with all operational units (e.g. Processes, Schools, People Processes) to guarantee that all schools possess the right business terms for learning to take place.
• The Director of Academics is the resident specialist who will push for student accomplishment through defending the KwaraLEARN approach and teaching government authorities, member employees members, and school networks.
• The KwaraLEARN program is a agile one that is evolving the way students learn in Kwara through proven methods and constant creative invention.

• The Director of Academics, in partnership with Divided Solutions, will design, execute and evaluate various targeted projects that build on the quality of the KwaraLEARN program.

What You Will Do

• Head implementation and interdepartmental synchronization of the core academic programme in Kwara through the formation of the Academic Strategy
• Promoting for learning results and serving as the KwaraLEARN academic specialist for other departments
• Offering response to the Instructional Design team, in order to enhance learning results and culturally contextualise what is trained in Kwara
• Advocating KwaraLEARN with key state participants, which includes but not limited to SUBEB, MOE, UBEC, and other government education authorities
• Carrying out necessary market and compliance-related analysis to guide instructional operational structures and rules (timetable, tutor expertise settings, retention rules, exam regulatory framework, placement regulatory framework)
• Recognize zones of growth within our Academic offerings and produce program/rules that enhance student learning and school processes
• Oversee the Academics team based in your territory, namely the Program Manager
• The Director, Academics, will answer to the Corporate head.
