Job Description

Duties

  • Ensure adherence to the project's Health, safety, security, and environment strategize rules, and standardized processes on the remote marine operations operational base or vessel.
  • Carry out consistent on-site inspections and audits to recognize promise risks and guarantee adherence with safety rules and project qualifications.
  • Carry out toolbox talks, safety sessions, and development sessions to advance a robust safety culture among all staff.
  • Head the investigative of all incidents, accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, getting ready thorough documentation and endorsing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Verify that every staff, which includes service providers, adhere with compulsory Health, safety, security, and environment standardized processes, which includes the use of personal protective tools (PPE).
  • Preserve and modify all Health, safety, security, and environment recordkeeping, which includes licenses-to-work, risk evaluations, and system issue documentation.
  • Track ecological terms and initiatives to prevent pollution and guarantee adherence with ecological rules.
  • Serve as a point of reach out for all Health, safety, security, and environment-associated concerns and matters in-field.
  • Coordinate with the onshore Health, safety, security, and environment team and customer delegates to documentation in-field safety effectiveness and handle any concerns.
  • Demonstrate leadership to lead safety consciousness and assure safe office procedures are followed at all times.

Qualifications

  • A applicable a member of a professional body in Workplace safety and wellness (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is essential, and a Academic qualification in a relevant field is a plus.
  • At least 8 years of expertise as an Health, safety, security, and environment specialist, with a minimum of 4years particularly in an remote marine operations petroleum sector environment, with a established history of operating on the Bonga FPSO.
  • Demonstrated expertise executing safety programs for servicing & maintenance, building, and turnaround projects.
  • The applicant must hold valid remote marine operations qualifications which includes BOSIET, OSP, and a valid medical certification.
  • This role requires operating in a difficult remote marine operations industrial environment on channels or vessels
