Truck Driver at ResQX in Ajah, Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable and safety-aware Truck Driver to transport goods and materials to appointed sites productively and on time. The preferred candidate will possess robust pushing competencies, expertise in road safety rules, and the capability to preserve the vehicle in outstanding requirement while advocating the organization competently.

Primary duties

• Safely operate organisation trucks to transport goods, tools, or materials as allocated.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, oil, fuel, and safety tools) before and after trips.
• Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded safely to prevent loss or loss.
• Follow allocated routes, plans, and dispatch directions while conforming to traffic legal provisions and road safety rules.
• Preserve precise records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and dispatch data records.
• Documentation mechanical concerns, accidents, or setbacks promptly to the manager/processes team.
• Keep the truck clean, structured, and in good operating requirement.
• Help with minor vehicle servicing & maintenance checks and organize servicing as required.
• Adhere with all organisation rules, health and safety protocols, and Health, safety, and environment rules.
• Offer outstanding client support and stand for the organization in a specialist manner.

Credentials

• Valid truck driving permit (suitable category/class as per national qualifications).
• At least 4 years’ expertise as a specialist truck driver.
• Clean pushing document with no key traffic violations.
• Expertise in road safety rules and basic vehicle servicing & maintenance.
• Physical fitness and capability to lift or secure loads when necessary.
• Clear expression and people skills.
