Auditor at Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) - 4 Openings in Owerri, Imo

Duties

• Execute audit of organizational processes, financial resources, adherence with rules and standardized processes, audit investigative, standard procedure audit as may be directed by the Manager.
• Assist the Supervisors to carry out periodic internal audit evaluate of accounting records and entries and audit inquiries.
• Ensure the execution of internal audit strategy according to timetable.
• Guarantee adherence with invoicing and metering rules and guidelines.
• Track and evaluate technical, business-related and collection losses which includes metering fraud, unlawful linkages, energy theft etc.
• Carrying out Audit inquiries as may be directed from time to time.
• Supervising of client’s cash collections, lodgement.
• Carry out periodic financial matching to guarantee revenues are banked whole and intact.
• Evaluate and confirm the routine cash balancing roles of all cashiers in the districts and service centers.
• Execute other miscellaneous roles incidental to delivering audit targets.
• Perfor many other position allocated by the Audit Supervisors and/or Chief, Internal Audit and Adherence.

Qualifications

• A Bsc / Higher national diploma in Accounting, Engineering or Community-related Sciences
• Any of these Specialist qualifications: ACA/ACCA, CAN, CIMA, CIA, CISA, COREN
• Possession of any of the No. 2 above is a plus
• At least 4 years’ auditing/accounting work expertise
• Age – 30years to 40years
