Data engineer - Data Advisor at Wragby Business Solutions & Technologies Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

The Data engineer will lead the strategic use of data to solve sophisticated business challenges, supply industry-specific creative strategies, and mentor customers through analytics-based transformations. Fulfilling the role of both a tech specialist and a trusted consultant, you will head cross-operational teams on initiative dispatch, train entry-level scientists, and play a pivotal position in influencing innovation of data science inside the company.

Work tasks

• Assess business needs and targets.
• Convert business hurdles into data science frameworks and practical findings.
• Evaluate unedited data and convert business needs into data outputs.
• Head cross-operational teams in the implementation of analytics-based advising projects.
• Coordinate the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large data collections to organize for evaluation.
• Coordinate the development of predictive, machine learning and in-depth learning models, algorithms, and statistical evaluation to handle customer-specific hurdles.
• Design and execute analytics-based initiatives in sync with customer targets.
• Coordinate the formation of interactive dashboards and visualizations to convey findings productively.
• Train entry-level data scientists and promote an environment that fosters uninterrupted learning and creative invention.
• Work alongside data Engineers, analysts, architects, and software engineers on several projects.
• Collaborate with executive guidance and the cyber security team to guarantee secrecy, honesty and reliability and accessibility of data and endorse enhancements.
• Supply workshops, expertise distribute, and development for within and outside the organization clients

Role expectations

• Bachelor's degree or Equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant field.
• 4+ years of operating expertise in data science with a minimum of 1 year in a executive function.
• Previous expertise as a Data scientist/Evaluator or similar is applicable
• AZ900/ DP100/ AI100 /AI102 /DP600 /AWS Accredited ML is a plus.
• Outstanding project coordination, information exchange, and people skills.
• Cloud Processing – Azure /AWS /Google, Databricks, SQL, Python, -Data Visualization resources, Big Data Technical solutions, Data Mining, Data Segmentation, Logical ability.
• Expertise in IT advising or operating with enterprise-level customers.
• Capability to oversee various projects in a dynamic advising environment
