Job Description
Position Overview
The Accounting head will supervise all financial accounting processes of the property firm, making sure adherence with compliance guidelines, precise finance reporting, and productive money movement management. The position includes strategic budgeting, financial planning, tax management, and oversight of the accounting team to assist business expansion and operations excellency.
Tax & Legal adherence:
- Guarantee promptness submitting of Organisation Earnings Tax (CIT), VAT, WHT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and compliance-related bodies (FIRS, LIRS, etc.).
- Stay informed on modifications in financial rules affecting the property market.
Credentials & Expertise
- Education: Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
- A member of a professional body: ICAN, ACCA, or CPA (compulsory).
- Expertise: At least 9–15 years in accounting, with 5+ years in property, building, or real estate management.
- Specialized abilities: Competence in QuickBooks, SAP, Excel (improved), and Power BI.
- Expertise: Strong insight of Nigerian tax legal provisions, IFRS, and property financial dynamics.
- Applicants from Ibadan are more preferred
